A family was left devastated after all their home and all of their belonging were destroyed in a fire- luckily tweeps reached out and helped them.
Social media users opened their hearts to a family who lost everything in a fire after the daughter shared their story on Twitter.
Taking to the media platform, Nthabiseng Florence Ntsie asked tweeps for help after her family lost everything in a fire in Thokoza, Extension two, Gauteng.
"Guys Today My Parents house Catched Fire...Everything in The House Is Burned.. We Dont Have Clothes to Wear...Please help A Friend Inneed ..Worst part both My Parents Are not Working..Please Rt For Help," she captioned the post.
Since Ntsie uploaded it on Thursday, tweeps retweeted the post over 7400 times and soon the help came streaming in.
So, Briefly.co.za looked at some of the kind replies Ntsie got on her call for help.
Kareeba, who goes by the Twitter handle @Kareeba6, wrote: "Oh Gosh! That's sad ey ...Where you From? I'm Willing To Donate Food...An few Clothes ..please DM Me."
Another tweep, @plussizewomenSA, added: "Good Morning can you give us full details where do you stay and how can we get hold of you. So we can ask people from your side to help you. I will ask a friend to help us get ward council on board."
