Losing a loved one is never easy; losing your soulmate can crush a person's spirit. Simz Ngema lost her husband and soulmate in 2017 and while she tries to stay strong and go on with her life, she admits that some days she isn't ok.
Earlier this week Simz Ngema confessed to her fans and followers that she misses her husband, despite the time that has passed.
The brave young woman lost her husband, Dumi Dumi Masilela was shot and killed during a botched hijacking just over a year ago but her heart hasn't healed yet.
She shared her emotions on social media:
I’m not okay, not today. I miss my husband and my spirit feels heavy. Don’t let them lie to you, time doesn’t heal. God sustains you and you learn to carry the burden. You become stronger but some days you’ll be weak. Let yourself be weak. There is strength in living your truth.
Simz' fans tried to reach out to her by sharing their own pain with her and encouraging her:
noniegatsheny - Shm sweety I'm sorry about that is not easy to go through bt I believe God is with you all the time Lv
ms_ferrie - Some scars never heal but they just stop bleeding..
pulengmolebatsi - I love u. Sims. I know the feeling. I have lost my loved ones too
mims_miller - Lost both my parents and yes I agree with you and keep telling ppl that time does not heal.....but you strong and yes some day you gonna be weak and cry that’s okay .... but your husband loves you and God loves you
Briefly.co.za earlier reported on how Simz recently shared a video that reminded her of the good times she had with Dumi.
Simz' graceful and brave spirit is admirable and she teaches us that you can stand up and be proud even when you're in pain, but if you can't, that's ok too.
What an inspirational young woman.
