In a true success story, this 17-year-old teen has created a business that is already worth R7.1m.
Zandra Cunningham, the founder and CEO of Zandra’s Beauty, an all-natural skincare line, started her company when she was just 9-years old. Now, at age 17, her Buffalo, New York-based company has more than 40 products, reports blackbusiness.org.
Zandra says she decided to start her own business making beauty products after sh found that all the products she bought let her skin dry and itchy. With a small beginning she began by producing lip balm in her mother’s kitchen.
It was a long journey for this successful young lady as she had to learn the formulas that worked and also had to gain people’s trust as they often felt she was too young to be taken seriously.
But she persevered and today her products are in stores across America.
