Now a video has taken social media by storm, which showed a woman calling shoppers monkeys. The footage was shared on Twitter by Khathi Dikobo on Sunday and gathered over 20.8k views, Briefly.co.za learned.
It shows security guards having to stop shoppers from getting to a customer who allegedly called them monkeys in Clicks.
"I told you all white people are. Racist! PW Botha has Multiplied #AdamCatzavelos @Clicks_SA issue a meaningfull statement or we will deal with all your stores. And leave the casher alone." Dikobo captioned the video.
The video sparked a massive response from social media users, who were disgusted by the 'monkey' statement.
Revolutionary, who goes by the Twitter handle @MastaOfEquality, wrote: "Its breaking loose and the so called best public protector @ThuliMadonsela3 only protected her kind, settlers. How did you overlook such issues and claim to be standing up for justice? Highest degree of a Hypocrite. The race war started long ago."
