ANC commits to dropping eTolls, but Twitter was ready: 'Is it not ANC that brought eTolls?'

‏Ever since the birth of eTolls, South African hated it. People saw it as another way of being taken advantage of by the government. The ANC recently said they will be scrapping eTolls and South Africans responded with scepticism.

South Africans were upset when eTolls were introduced and then outraged when it came to light that millions were wasted during and after their introduction.

Now the ANC announced that they have decided that eTolls must go but South Africans weren't impressed.

Tweeps responded with the question "Who did you expect to clean up the mess you made?" and would have been interesting to know what the ANC has to say for themselves.

Most people don't believe that the ANC will stick to their promise, seeing the promise as nothing more than a way to gain votes in the 2019 elections.
