Mzansi save the date: award winning Sam Smith is heading to SA

Big Concerts has announced that the one and only Sam Smith will be hitting our shores in April 2019.

The international superstar is bringing his ‘The Thrill Of It All Tour’ to Mzansi for four mesmerizing performances.

Joburg fans will be the first to see him perform and they need to set aside the 13th and 14th of April for his shows at the Ticketpro Dome.

His next stop will be at the Grandwest Casino, so Cape Townians need to clear their schedules for the 16th and 17th of April.

TimesLIVE reports that tickets for his shows will be going on sale on Thursday and more information about the tickets can be found on the Big Concerts website.

Both Big Concerts and Sam Smith himself made the announcement over Twitter and tweeps erupted into a frenzy to hear that the ‘Stay With Me’ hit-maker is making his way to South Africa.

Briefly.co.za learned that since the news broke, Sam Smith began trending on Twitter with over 3000 tweets mentioning his name, it appears that tweeps can't seem to be able to talk about anything else.

It is expected that Sam Smith will be bringing a full band as well as dancers for his concerts in Mzansi and he promises not to disappoint his South African fans.
