- The financial situation was explained to staff early in August, but nothing has been sorted out and staff have reached their limit

All fans of Uzalo will have to wait patiently for issues to be resolved before workers will commence production.
Stained Glass Pictures, is the production company which released a statement confirming the suspension of production. This will be for the rest of August.
The suspension is due to unpaid monies to staff, reported ZAlebs.
Staff made the decision to stop working until the end of August as they would not work without being paid.
Briefly.co.za learnt that this was done after staff did not receive their pay which were meant to have been paid on August 25.
Once matters were discussed with affected staff by the company, they had the option to either apply for immediate leave until they receive payment or to keep on working.
Despite not being paid, there were a number of staff that opted to continue to work. This showed true dedication.
Sadly, the loyal staff have still not been paid and have now exercised their rights to not work until salaries have been received.
The company stated that they appreciate staffs loyalty and dedication this month. They are in financial hot water and understand staffs concerns and decision to stop working.
Pepsi Pokane, who id the Executive Producer of the production company, said that they tried their best to make things work and to pull through this month, but they just did not make it.
Pepsi believes that matters will be sorted out soon and that they will be able to continue production early next wee.
