Lakela Kaunda, Jacob Zuma's advisor, said there is no truth in the allegations against her made by Vytjie Mentor.

Mentor claims Kaunda set up a meeting between her and the Guptas.

Mentor testified during the inquiry and made quite a few explosive allegations.

Kaunda's legal team remains adamant that Mentor did not speak to Kaunda as she alleged. They added that there is no evidence to back Mentor's claims.

According to EWN, Mentor said, among other things, that she was offered a ministerial position in return for promising to drop the South African Airways flight route to India.

Earlier, Briefly.co.za reported that Mentor claimed she was offered a position as a cabinet minister by the Guptas in exchange for certain favourable business decisions. She claims to have been offered the public enterprises portfolio after Barbara Hogan was fired.
