The latest tragedy comes just as the Zuma family would have started to recover from the shock death of the former president’s son Vusi Zuma.

Briefly.co.za gathered that Busa Zuma was born in Durban on 28 September 1989 and spent a large portion of his life in the city and province. He was described in the statement as an entrepreneur in his own right.

Citizen.co.za reported that Busa leaves behind three of his own sons, his parents and large extended family. The family expressed its thanks for the support and well wishes of those who were close to Busa and other members of the family.

The family also thanked all of the doctors, nurses and staff members at the hospital who assisted Busa in the final days of his life.

SowetanLive.co.za reported that the ANC’s Msholozi branch sent a note of condolence to the entire Zuma family via Facebook.

Neither the ANC nor the Zuma family has released additional statements or details.
