Afropunk took place in Brooklyn last week and Nandi made an unforgettable impression. She was the first African female to host the main stage at the iconic event, reported the Daily Sun.
Nadndi turned heads and dropped jaws with an over the top dress that was covered in lush green feathers, created by local celebrity stylist, Gavin Mahlangu.
Briefly.co.za learnt that then dress made such lasting impact that it was featured on New York Times Fashion’s Instagram page. We expected nothing less from our girl.
The beaut rocked the look and the publication even quoted her for the caption on the post. What a wow.
Alyssa Pollack, who is a well-known illustrator from New York, sketched Nandi in the dress and also posted it to her Instagram page.
Nandi always makes a statement in everything that she does. She looked absolutely stunning; there is no wander that she created such a stir.
