- Zodwa is already thinking about her retirement
- The star has plans in place, so she can live comfortably when she is no longer performing
- With one house in her name, she is thinking of getting a second home as well as a car
Zodwa Wabantu has become known for her risqué dance moves and revealing outfits, but it seems like all that time in the limelight has paid off.
The performer made sure that she planned for her future, so that when she loses her popularity and is no longer booked for gigs, she can still get by.
In the future, Zodwa sees herself possibly buying a second home but she knows that she must also get herself a new set of wheels.
While her critics judge her every move, even they have to admit that she is making the most of her money.
Earlier this week, Zodwa posted a picture of her new home while it was still under construction.
Briefly.co.za learned that she is very proud of her home because she was able to pay for the house without taking out a loan from the bank.
She also went on to say that many people in her life told her that she would never be able to fully own a house, let alone build it from the ground up. Now she can prove all of them wrong.
Zodwa has never had a house of her own because her mother dies when she was only 11 years old and she has been moving around since, making this milestone even more special for her.
TimesLIVE reports that she chose to build her house in Nelspruit because it will be near to her aunt, who can also help her look after it.
She also says that Nelspruit is the place she wants to live out the rest of her life when she decides to retire from the entertainment industry.
She has stated that she only wants her home to have three bedrooms and two bathrooms along with a kitchen, two garages, dining room and a living rooms, which is fairly modest for a celeb.
She later revealed that her house had been completed some time ago, but she wanted to be an example to her fans and to show them that it is possible for them to achieve their goals.
She feels that many people are going to focus on the size of her home or how much she is spending on it, when she wants them to see that she is using her money to provide for herself when she is no longer working.
