Tumi Voster was recently honour with a prestigious "honorary lifetime membership of the University of Johannesburg’s Chapter of the Golden Key Society".
According to the university, the media personality was awarded the membership because she upheld academic excellence.
Her achievement was shared on Twitter by Phil Mphela on Thursday.
"NEWS: Congrats to media personality Tumi Voster. She has been bestowed with a honorary lifetime membership of the University of Johannesburg’s Chapter of the Golden Key Society," he captioned the post.
Taking to Instagram, Voster also shared the amazing achievement.
"Last night I got recognized as an honorary member of the @goldenkey_uj society! Its moments like these that push me to continue to strive for excellence! To be sitting on that stage amongst some great academics truly humbled me! It felt like graduation time all over again, except this time on a different level! Recognizing my vision, hard work and excellence," she captioned part of her post.
She added: "The Golden Key Chapter Society of the University of Johannesburg identifies academic students but also prominent social figures that uphold the three pillars of academics, leadership and community service in society. And I was one of them! What a great honour!"
In another Instagram post, Voster said she was happy to see women were being encouraged to be anything they want to be.
