AfriForum requested the national police commissioner to probe accusations by a convict, whom claimed Juju spoke to him about farm murders.
In a recorded interview between a national intelligence agent and the general of the 28 jail gang, the gangster claimed he and the EFF leader talked about farm murders, where Malema allegedly asked him to provide them with equipment, inducing guns, to commit farm murders.
The recording was made public in March last year by Carte Blanche. The EFF claimed Juju did not have the time to respond to the accusations and it has since been dropped without a formal investigation.
However, AfriForum’s Ernst Roets highlighted the issue in his book, Kill the Boer, and it has since placed the spotlight on Malema again.
In response to Roets’ book, Malema took to social media where he said maybe he organized farm murders, maybe he did not.
Roets said when considering the high farm murder rate, it is important that the issue be thoroughly investigated.
AfriForum gave the police commissioner a copy of Kill the Boer, where he could get more background information on the serious situation.
