- Kwesta recently stated that he is no business man and he would have sunk Raplyf by now if he was running it
- The business side is run by his team as Kwesta does not know much about business and has no interest in learning it either
- He gives all glory to his team and says that he lets them do what they do best while he focuses on the music
South African rapper and businessman, Kwesta, has humbled himself and given glory to his team for their amazing work. He stated that RapLyf would be nothing without them and he, himself, could never do what they do.
In a recent interview he admitted that he does not have the skills to run a flourishing business and that is why he leaves it to his team, reported Times Live.
Briefly.co.za gathered that he sticks to what he knows he can do and leaves the rest to people who can do what he can’t. Everyone has their place, music is his.
Kwesta stated that it is a simple act of accepting yourself and your abilities and not taking on what you cannot handle.
“I’d run RapLyf down the drain if I were to go like ‘I’ll do everything myself,” the rapper said and he is thankful for his team for doing what he could never.
The team is not just a bunch of people though. Kwesta picked his team with great care and trust. Majority of his team are people who he grew up with.
Having a team that he can trust, makes business easy and allows him to focus on music. Kwesta said that his team are the business thinkers, but at the end of the day, he has the final say.
Kwesta highlighted that he could do business if he wanted to, ‘he just does not have a passion for it’. Music is where his passion lies and he is damn good at it.
He gives all the glory to his team and is not about to steal the spotlight for something he did not do.
It has been two years since Kwesta released a new album, but the rapper said that fans must keep an eye open forDakar III, which will be released sometime in 2019.
