Kind man helps stranded woman who had flat tyre in unsafe area

A kind man has won praise after he stopped to help a woman and her daughter who were stranded with a flat tyre in an unsafe area.

The woman, Belinda Peters from Pretoria, shared the story on her Facebook page recently, Briefly.co.za gathered.

She said she was on her way home after picking her daughter from school when her car had a puncture.

When Belinda stopped, other motorists simply sped by and didn't stop to help. In fact, some of them even hooted at her.

Fortunately, Given, who works at Hi-Q in Menlyn, eventually stopped and took control of the situation. He changed her tyre and made sure she was good to go.

Belinda praised Given for his kind gesture:

Hi-Q Menlyn, thank you for having such a wonderful [and] well trained staff member working for you!!! I can’t thank you enough. From my daughter and I, thank you Given.
