- Cristiano Ronaldo Jr has opened his goals account in Juve debut
- The eight-year-old netted double brace after sealing his switch from Real Madrid
- His father is yet to score despite making 3 Serie A appearances for Juventus
Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo is still waiting to net his first Serie A goal for Juventus but his son Cristiano Ronaldo Jr has already opened his goals account.
The former Los Blancos superstar is yet to score in the Italian topflight after three matches after his massive switch from the La Liga in the summer.
However, while the 33-year-old the five-time Ballon d'Or winner is searching for the way to the goal, Junior is scoring for fun.
The eight-year-old who was previously on the books at Real Madrid, netted double brace in his first for the Juventus Under-9s.
Reports in Italy claimed last week that Ronaldo had teamed up with the 'Pulcini' and enjoyed support with step-mum Georgina Rodriguez in the stands.
Interestingly, other star players that include Andrea Barzagli's son Mattia and Claudio Marchisio's son David equally defend the colours of Juve youth side but will likely lose the services of David following his dad’s exit from the La Liga champions.
On the other hand, it is a different scenario for the older Ronaldo with the A team where the current world’s best player is struggling to find his scoring boots.
This is despite Juventus recording three successive victories out of three for a maximum 9 points.
At the last count, Ronaldo drilled in 23 shots at goal in 360 minutes of football but is yet to hit target.
Ronaldo made eight stunning attempts to score against Parma on Saturday, but only one effort was on target.
The Old Lady's held on to claim a precious 2-1 win with the pair of Mario Mandzukic and Blaise Matuidi getting the needed goals.
Meanwhile, it was previously reported that Juventus manager Massiliano Allegri revealed that Cristiano Ronaldo was "angry" after ex-teammate Luka Modric claimed the UEFA's Player of the Year.
According to an ESPN report, the Bianconeri boss also wants the decision of the former Los Blancos star not to be present at the ceremony in Monaco to be respected.
The Portuguese informed the Serie A club early on Thursday, August 31, that he did not feel like travelling but failed to state his reason for not making the trip.
