Party goers celebrated the arrival spring with one of Gauteng’s biggest events of the year at Joburg Day 2018.
This year’s line up had some of Mzansi’s best musical talent featuring the likes of Mafikizolo, Goldfish, DJ Kent and many more.
Riky Rick opened the show and had the crowd on their feet from the minute he walked on stage.
Briefly.co.za reported that earlier this year Riky Rick announced that he would retire from touring so that he can spend more time with his kids, but devoted fans were excited to see back on stage once again.
Shekinah has shot to success despite making an early exit from Idols SA.
The singer grabbed Mzansi’s attention with her soulful voice and captivating lyrics, not to mention that she slays her live performances like no one else.
Shekinah was one of the most highly anticipated performers on the line-up and she certainly did not disappoint.
Of course, the one and only, AKA took the party well into the night with his set.
TimesLIVE reports that AKA has become the top rapper in Mzansi and his stage performances prove that he deserves this title with the amount of energy he puts into his set and the crowd can’t seem to get enough.
