Zonke is on the hunt for four new backup singers to join her in studio and on the road and will be holding auditions throughout the week.
Zonke Dikana, best known by her first name, is searching for two female singers as well as two male singers to accompany her.
The Afro-soul singer will be hosting the auditions at Groove Live, previously known as Bassline, in Johannesburg on the 5th September but they are only open to people living in Gauteng.
Zonke has asked that everyone who wishes to audition needs to know three songs from her latest album off by heart.
ZAlebs reports that she has chosen ‘L.O.V.E.’, ‘Best Day of My Life’ and ‘Ndilimpondo’ from her album ‘L.O.V.E.’ which was released earlier this year.
So far, she has only announced one round of auditions which took place earlier today, but she will be holding more auditions in the next few days.
Briefly.co.za learned that Zonke has specified that the men and women who get the chance to be her backup singers need to be completely unemployed and available during the week and weekend.
Earlier this week, Zonke posted an image of the posted with all the necessary information for people who are wanting to audition.
