Devon Saunders, also known as local funny man Devdondidit, shared a hilarious video in reaction to Woolworths' expensive bread.
After paying R54 for a loaf of bread, Saunders poked fun at the high-end chain store. At one point he is heard asking if Jesus baked the bread.
He then goes on to buckle up the bread in his car before taking it sight seeing.
Briefly.co.za gathered Saunders shared the video on his Facebook page and captioned it: "WOOLWORTHS we need to talk. Still love you though."
He posted the video on Tuesday and it was an instant hit with social media users.
Cindy Jenkins wrote: "one should actually pay less seeing that there is no gluten in this holy bread"
Nicholas G Leonard added, "That bread went to a private school and then graduated from UCT together with those R20 Avos (same whatsapp group)"
Jessica Pereira commented: "Omg absolutely defeated by the bread in the safe....feel like we were just discussing woolies prices."
Saunders' post even caught the attention of Woolworths, who gave a hilarious response to his video.
