African groom drops his bride on their wedding day and Twitter was ready

A groom wanted to be romantic, so he picked up his new wife after their wedding- but, things went horribly wrong and it was all caught on video.

Tweeps were left in stitches over a video, which went viral on social media. The footage showed a groom dropping his new wife after trying to pick her up romantically.

The video was share don Twitter by social media user Thabani Krwala, with the caption: "Eish Lomjita."

Briefly.co.za gathered the video sparked a massive reaction, from tweeps who could not let the opportunity pass to make fun of the groom.

Social media user @nathieez wrote, "This can only be an arranged marriage,so this guy has never attempted to lift his woman before? neh something ain’t right.."

While one couple tied the knot, another woman had to say goodbye to her hubby after he passed away in a fire in Johannesburg on Wednesday.

As Briefly.co.za reported previously, the wife of one of the firefighters, who died in the fire that broke out in the department of health building in Joburg.
