Meet the amazing family of the firefighter who died battling the #JoburgFire

The wife of one of the firefighters who died in the Joburg fire on Wednesday, took to Twitter to share her heartbreak.

Yuri Tseke shared her heartbreak on social media after her hubby died in the fire that engulfed the department of health building in Johannesburg.

The fire claimed three firefighters' lives and one of their wives took to Twitter to share her sadness over her husband's death.

"#JoburgFire today I lost my husband, my best friend, father to my children. I love u so much," she wrote on Twitter, along with photos of her late spouse.

Her post struck a chord with tweeps, who hailed her hubby a hero for his actions amid the fire.

Social media user @MalaitaSA wrote, "Your husband, friend and the father of your children is a south African #Hero he served this Country and put his selfless life on the line. We will continue to honor him. Thank you for sharing his life with us."
Melinda shaw, who goes by the Twitter handle @melshaw001, added: "oh yuri, I am so sorry about your loss. today it is 20 years for me. life does go on, and you can be happy again, one day. for now, be gentle with yourself and honour him with your grief."

As reported previously, the Department of Health building in Johannesburg caught on fire on Wednesday morning.
