Eight-year-old Joshua Ziervogel has become an overnight celebrity after a video surfaced on the internet of his performance during a school play.

The video has racked up over 284 000 views at present, but it is sure to skyrocket as more and more people hear about the talented Kempton Park boy. learned that Joshua attends Laerskool Van Riebeeck Park Primary and was taking part in a school production where he and his classmates were singing and dancing to Redfoo’s ‘Juicy Wiggle’.

The young student confidently leads the performance without faltering or skipping a beat, at the end he received a thunderous applause from other students and parents who were watching the show.

TimesLIVE reports that after watching the video, many viewers began to compare the young star’s dance moves to Elvis and maybe one day he will follow in The King’s footsteps.

The class had chosen to perform the song on a ‘Grease’ inspired set, complete with poodle skirts for the girls and leather jackets for the boys.

The video was posted to Facebook by Frans Swart and has gained over 300 comments commending Joshua’s performance and it is clear to see that he was enjoying his time on the stage.
