Meet the man who did Brooke Logan's makeup in SA, Nthato Mashishi

Nthatho Mashishi is one of the hardest working makeup artists in the business and he has taken it to a whole new level when he was asked to be Brooke Logan’s personal stylist during her time in Mzansi.

Nthatho has done makeup for countless famous faces but he has made his mark internationally by doing makeup for the American actress, Katherine Kelly Lang.

Not only did he do her makeup for the appearances she made to meet fans, but he also got to work on the ‘Isidingo’ set when the actress made her cameo appearance.

He took to Instagram to share a snap of him hard at work prepping Katherine before the cameras started filming.

Best known for her role as Brooke Logan on ‘The Bold and The Beautiful’, Katherine graced the pages of ‘Fair Lady’ and none other than Nthatho was there to beautify her for the shoot.

Katherine was so pleased with his makeup and hair styling skills, that she gave him a shout out on her Instagram, who knows, when more of her famous friends visit, they could be calling Nthatho.

Briefly.co.za gathered that when he is not helping celebs look their best, Nthatho features as a judge on SABC 1’s fashion design competition, ‘Raw Silk’.

ZAlebs reports that one of the highlights of his career was getting the opportunity to do makeup on the late Nelson Mandela and that he was afraid to touch him.

He also went on to say that Mandela was a very kind man and while he was working on his face, he could almost feel his spirit rubbing off on him and it was a magical moment for him.s
