The legendary former Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns coach Gordon Igesund believes Orlando Pirates will eventually overcome their current scoring difficulties and he warns once this happens the team might become an unstoppable force.

Igesund said Pirates were currently in a rebuilding phase and the coaching staff were still experimenting with various combinations to figure out which work together best. He pointed out that the team created loads of scoring opportunities but failed to take advantage of them.

Citizen.co.za reported that Orlando Pirates have had a stuttering start to the 2018/19 campaign. The Soweto giants have managed two wins, two losses and a draw in the PSL and were knocked out of the MTN8 competition early.
