Stocks plummet, execs quit after Elon Musk smokes joint during interview

The co-founder of Tesla Inc., Elon Musk, recently enjoyed smoking weed and drinking whiskey during an interview and this led to big repercussions for Tesla.

Elon did a podcast interview and during it, he smoked a joint with comedian Joe Rogan. When the news reached the rest of the world, Tesla's stock plunged 9%. Analysts have decided to downgrade the company's stock.

Shortly after, 2 high-up executives announced they'd be leaving the company.

NBC reports that 48 execs have left Tesla this year. Tesla's head of engineering also left unexpectedly.

This comes after there have been questions about drug abuse after Musk's strange behaviour of late.

Musk claims to be going through a difficult time, and this is influencing Tesla.

While relaxing with a stiff drink might be just what a guy needs at the end of a hard day, perhaps such things should be enjoyed in private, to prevent negative attention.
