Onkgopotse JJ Tabane has been suspended by Power FM following his apology to Phumla Williams after she gave her testimony at the state capture inquiry last week Monday.
Williams gave testament to the ill-treatment that she received from former communications minister Faith Muthambi.
It was then that Tabane’s former public relations expert Chris Vick criticised him for having worked with Muthambi at the time where she was oppressing others, reported Sowetan Live.
Tabane felt the need to apologise for any part that he may have played in Williams being mistreated and for having "been complicit" in her time of oppression.
Briefly.co.za learnt that he took to social media last Wednesday to express his apologies and his shame for his role in the matter.
Just a day after this, Tabane was suspended. Power FM has yet to give him a valid explanation as to why he was suspended.
The radio station was meant to give comment on the situation, but they have failed to do so.
