A baggage worker at Lanseria Airport has won praise for showing great dedication and pride in his work.
A traveller, Janine Brand, took a video of Ephraim Sibeko at work and shared it on Facebook, Briefly.co.za gathered. She wrote:
He turns every single bag so that the handle of the suitcase is facing forward. All you do is grab and go. Next time you travel through Lanseria Airport and you come across Ephraim, stop, thank and tip him because no where in the world will you ever receive first class service like that.
Janine said Ephraim is unlike other baggage workers who simply stand or check the bags without caring how travellers retrieve them.
She urged her Facebook friends to share the video widely, adding that Ephraim should be promoted to global training manager.
Janine's video has gone viral, racking up over 270,000 views, 6,700 shares, and 400 comments. Commenters praised Ephraim. One wrote:
God bless him! His peers could learn from him and make our country more service-efficient.
Another commenter said:
He is an example to others. SA needs more caring people like him. God bless.
