Traffic police officers have won praise for helping a woman and her two daughters who were stranded on a national highway.
In a post shared on the Positive Racial Testimonies in SA Facebook page, Caroline Kruger said she was on the N1 towards Johannesburg when her car broke down recently. She added:
These wonderful policemen stopped to come and assist us. Thanks SAPS - there are still good guys out there. I was alone on the national road with my 2 daughters.
Caroline's story racked up over 800 reactions and 1,500 shares. This indicated that it had warmed the hearts of many readers.
Commenters praised the officers for coming to the rescue of Caroline and her two daughters and making sure they were safe.
