8 real reactions to South Africa's #CrimeStats for 2017/18

Earlier, Police Minister Bheki Cele has released the 2017/18 crime statistics. The report makes for grim reading and reveals that on average 57 people are murdered in the country every single day. During his presentation, Cele likened the murder rate to that of a war zone.

South African know just too well how bad crime is in their country but when the latest statistics were revealed they were astounded.

Briefly.co.za reported earlier that Cele revealed 20 336 people were murdered in 2017/18 - an increase of 6.9% over the last year.
