DJ Black Coffee has scooped the award for Best Deep House DJ at the International DJ Awards for the third year in a row.
Black Coffee was nominated alongside some serious competition with the likes of Maya Jane Coles and Damian Lazarus who were also in the running for the award.
The awards ceremony was held in Ibiza, the house music capital of the world, on Tuesday and Black Coffee chose to thank his fans for their support over social media.
The DJ took to Instagram to show his appreciation for his fans’ loyalty and support during his career and he was also honoured to have his music recognized by the awards committee.
TimesLIVE reports that Black Coffee is in London as he is busy collaborating with Nigerian artist Wizkid for his upcoming project.
Briefly.co.za learned that the DJ received messages of congratulation from the African National Congresses’ official account as well as former Minister of Police, Fikile Mbalula.
Fans have also been flooding social media to congratulate Black Coffee on his achievement.
