Dineo Ranaka is known for her outspoken and unapologetically forward ways. She never hesitates to speak her feeling and has found herself in some colourful situations over the years.
The media personality feels that she is allowed to speak her mind and that no one has the power to tell her she can’t. She never backs down and it makes for some interesting news headlines.
We take a look at five of the most drama filled moments caused by Dineo’s militancy:
1. YFM gave her an ultimatum
Dineo apparently fought with the YFM marketing manager back in 2011, reported ZAlebs. She made such a scene that the station had to give her an ultimatum that pushed her to the point of blubbing on live radio.
2. Labelling South African men as cowards
Due to the extreme xenophobic attacks in 2015, Dineo felt that SA men were being cowards for harming innocent foreigners. Briefly.co.za learnt that this came from a place close to home as her baby daddies are both foreign men. The men of Mzansi did not take it lightly and she was put in her place.
3. Ducking and diving bills for damages she caused
Dineo was allegedly involved in an accident with a 53-year-old man, where she was at fault. She owed him R30 000.00 in damaged and made every attempt to avoid paying him. The man took the matter public and people were shocked at her shady behaviour.
4. Throwing constant shade at Cassper
Cassper Nyovest felt so victimised by Dineo that he took to social media to express his concerns. She talks down on him so often that the rapper could not take it anymore. The shade started as far back as 2012 and it has not stopped.
5. Calling Bonang Matheba a ‘straatemate’
This is her most recent act of hate. Dineo recently called Bonang Matheba a ‘straatemate’ on live radio. B’s fans did not take it lightly and they blasted her over social media. But, as always, Dineo did not even care.
She’s ruthless and no matter how many times she burns herself, she never changes. Dineo thrives on drama and conflict. If you think that something will eventually snap her out of it, you are sadly mistaken.
Now, we wait patiently to see who her next victim is, it won’t take long.
