A Johannesburg-based woman took to Twitter recently to mark the 16th anniversary of her fiancé's death, which she referred to as her "personal 9-11."
Marang Setshwaelo posted a photo of her late fiancé, Philppe Wamba, along with the caption:
Yesterday was the 16th anniversary of the worst day of my life - my fiancé’s death. My personal 9-11. Life, ne? That day, I knew for a fact that I would never, ever be happy again. Yet here I am, loving life, fulfilled by family, friends, work. Philippe Wamba - a guardian angel.
Marang works as a publicist and is an entrepreneur as well. As Briefly.co.za reported, she has remained close to Philippe's mom and paid tribute to her on Twitter recently.
In a subsequent tweet, Marang said Philippe had written a family memoir by the time he was 29 years old.
Marang's tweet touched the hearts of hundreds of Twitter users. Many of them sent her their best wishes.
