- Micah Adjarkoh (4) was hailed a hero after saving his mother’s life
- The toddler managed to call emergency services when his mother repeatedly fainted
- If it wasn’t for his cool and calm demeanour, Micah’s mother might not have been alive today
At only 4 years ld, Micah Adjarkoh is already being hailed a hero after saving his mother’s life.
In th face of true pandemonium, little Micah, from Camberwell in south London, remembered his mom’s cellphone pin to unlock her phone and call emergency services,
In a chilling recording, Micah gave the operator his address and postal code, with the help of his 24-year-old mother, Chancelvie Ngoy. She managed to cough out some words in the background of the call.
When the operator asked little Micah what his mother’s name is, he replies, “Mumy.”
According to a report by the You magazine, at one point during the 13-minute emergency call, Micah tells the operator his mother is sleeping when he’s asked what she’s doing.
Like a true hero, Micah also made sure the front door to their home was open so that paramedics could enter it when they arrived.
Chancelvie, a receptionist, was taken to hospital and was treated for a blood clot. She spent almost a week in hospital.
In an interview with The Sun, Chancelvie said Micah saved her life:”He’s our hero.”
The mother said while she was terrified, blacking out every so often, Micah did everything so well.
Briefly.co.za gathered that Micah only cried when emergency services put a mask on his mother and told him he was not allowed in the ambulance.
