A graduate has gone the extra mile in his attempts to find a job and it stuck a chord with a social media user.
The sad reality in South Africa is that a lot of people are left unemployed, including graduates who spend thousands of rands to pursue a degree.
This resulted in yet another graduate taking to the streets with a sign with the hopes that someone might notice him and offer him a job.
Social media user Mpho Gadisi saw Tshimangadzo standing on the corner of the street with a sign that read: "Plz hire a grad, Honours in Mining and Geo SACE (Maths & Science)"
Gadisi took a photo of the Honours grad and posted it on his Twitter page. Briefly.co.za gathered Gadisi explained Tshimangadzo graduated in 2017 and has since failed to land a job.
"His name is Tshimangadzo. Met him on the corner of Grayston and Katherine (Sandton) this mrning. He graduated last year and hasn't been able to find work since. If you knw of anyone or possibly are that one person who can make a difference," Gadisi captioned the photo.
Tshimangadzo's story touched Gadisi's heart and although he was unable to help him with a job, Gadisi sat down and had lunch with the graduate.
