- Rachel Kolisi has called an Instagram influencer ‘thirsty’ after they shared a picture with Siya Kolisi
- She has called out women before for going after her man, even though he is married
- Some tweeps think she is insecure, while others think that the post was purposely done to antagonize her
Rachel Kolisi has been very vocal about how other women should act around and talk about her hubby Siya Kolisi, but she took it to a new level when she posted a cup and straw emoji in the comments section of an influencer’s post on Instagram.
Twitter immediately blew up after finding out about it on Tuesday and her name began trending for the rest of the day.
Rachel had been tagged in a photo that an Instagram influencer posted of herself and the Springbok captain, but Rachel was not too happy about it so she threw a whole lot of shade at the influencer.
Typically, the cup and straw emoji implies that someone is ‘thirsty’ which nowadays means that a person is looking for attention or has major feelings for someone that it is impossible to hide them, either way, Rachel was not standing for it.
This is not the first time that the rugby player’s wife has caused a stir on social media.
Earlier this year she fired shots at a tweep who explicitly said that she would happily date Siya, even if he is a married man.
Briefly.co.za learned that Rachel clapped back at the tweep and told her to respect her as well as her relationship with Siya.
ENCA reports that tweeps are posting more and more thirsty tweets to taunt Rachel into reacting publicly and it seems to be working.
Rachel's Twitter has been suspended since the incident, but tweeps have been sharing screenshots of the Instagram user's posts to form their own opinions on the matter.
While tweeps are telling her to take a seat because with her hubby’s celeb status, there will always be someone after her man, but at the end of the day he is married to her.
However, there are some social media users who do sympathize with her and felt that the influencer’s post was aimed at her, so they felt that her response was justified.
