A video has gone viral on social media which showed a man calling the South African head of state the k-word.
The man, who has been identified as ex-convict turned businessman Kessie Nair, vehemently called Cyril Ramaphosa the k-word in a video, which is almost five minutes long.
“I Kessie Nair do hereby call for that k****r state president, Mr Cyril Ramaphosa, be charged for defrauding this nation, for oppressing this nation, for high treason,” he was heard saying.
The video spread like wild fire and social media user Dasen Thathiah shared it on Twitter.
"Durban businessman #KessieNair racially attacks president Cyril Ramaphosa in this Facebook video, calling him a “k***** president.” #eNCA," he captioned the post.
The video sparked quite the reaction on social media and Briefly.co.za, who does not support Nair's actions, decided to take a look at some of the responses of furious South Africans.
Social media user @ThembaK85 wrote, "This isn't new, in fact it doesn't surprise me anymore, the very same ramaphosa & his ministers are the ones gave them a platform to disrespect him, by not taking actions against racism. Whist CIC @Julius_S_Malema was attacked by saying majority of Indians are racist. Gadi baje."
