Coca-Cola has confirmed that it plans to explore the possibility of using a Cannabis compound in some of its drinks.

This comes after rumours were going around that Coca-Cola was discussing a mash-up with Canadian marijuana company Aurora Cannabis, according to a report by The Daily Sun.

Apparently, they want to make a health drink together. The famous soft drink company stated that it is looking closely at using dagga in drinks.

It is widely believed that Cannabis has many health benefits, so it's quite possible the world could be sipping on ice-cold dagga drinks real soon.

People were excited by the idea and shared their views on social media:

@LasVegasLocally - Brilliant move @CocaCola.
@SwampRob - Gives new meaning to their slogan "Have a Coke and a smile."
