On Wednesday, SheSouthAfrica shared the inspirational story of social media user @Khutz100 on Twitter.
A lot of times bad things happen to people which alters the course of their lives forever. Social media @Kutz100 decided she wanted to help others after her father passed away from cancer.
So, she became a traditional healer who also went on to study towards a degree in Politics from the University of Wits.
"Meet @WitsUniversity Political Sciences graduate & Hogwarts graduate @Khutz100. Manjunju is her Dad’s nickname who passed on from cancer in 2015. It’s an ode to him and she will never change it. @Khutz100 has undergone the process of ukuThwasa and I’m a Sangoma," the post captioned on Twitter.
"@Khutz100 peers often have older people to refer to when looking at what it is to live as a Sangoma so she knw she's more relatable becoz of her age. She hope to continue debunking Sangoma myths and educating people about it," the post continued.
Briefly.co.za learned her dream is to open a school, where others could comfortably be themselves.
"Just be apologetically you and live the best version of your life. I’ve been unapologetically me in all phases of my life and this has me at a place where I have zero regrets," she added.
