A Johannesburg-based journalist took to Twitter recently to wish his mom, who was turning 59, a happy birthday.

Sphelele Dludla shared a photo of his youthful-looking mom, Briefly.co.za gathered. He accompanied it with the caption, "Mom turning 59 today..."

His tweet racked up over 1,100 likes and 36 retweets as tweeps joined him in sending his mom their best wishes.

Tweeps helped Sphelele celebrate the special occasion.
