Zodwa Wabantu cracks her first million with a reality TV show deal

With all her hard work and her controversial dance moves, Zodwa Wabantu is on the brink of a breakthrough into the TV industry and to take a piece of the pie.

Zodwa Libram, better known as Zodwa Wanbantu, is set to bag a cool R1 million for reality show. This was confirmed by Sunday World.

The season that will comprise of 13 episodes will be debut on DSTV’s new channel, Moja Love, reported Sowetan Live.

Not much has been revealed about the show only that Palesa Madisakwane, former Generations actress, will be heading the production. Palesa is the owner of Thambo productions.

Dancing without underwear always sparks controversy for Zodwa but she assures us that we are in for something different.

Briefly.co.za learnt that she has stated that, not a single episode will be shot before half of the amount she has asked for, is in her bank account. She is not prepared to put herself out there with getting nothing in return.

Zodwa has not yet signed the contract and is not willing to give too much away. All she can say is that she is here to make money and to assist others to make money too. Zodwa returns from Dubai on Tuesday and will then be available to sign the contract.

When Zodwa was asked to confirm the monetary value of the contract, she said that is private information between her and the producers.

Madisakwane revealed that her part in the project was script writing and that others will be doing the filming. The start of the shoot will be in Dubai with Soweto coming in at a later stage.

The series will be among others, an account of Zodwa and her Ben 10 boyfriend, previous relationships and the loss of her mother.

After Zodwa had had her say, she added one last thing, and that is, she is going to revolutionise the world of reality!
