Kaizer Chiefs head coach Giovanni Solinas has once again heaped praise on striker Khama Billiat and believes the player makes as big a contribution to the Kaizer Chiefs team as Messi does to Barcelona and Argentina.

Solinas said Billiat was one of a very small number of players who could make a difference and affect the outcome of a match on his own.

Kaizer Chiefs are on a mini-break at the moment and will only play their next match against Highlands Park on Tuesday 2 October. Solinas said he was grateful for the break because it would give him additional time to work with his squad and refine parts of the game which he still worried about.

Kaizer Chiefs endured a miserable start to the season but have come good in recent weeks after winning three out of three matches. Solinas added that Chiefs supporters could look forward to more good results because the team was only getting better
