A rare snake was found in Virginia, USA and it was one of those moments when you have to look twice before you believe your eyes. The wild copperhead snake has 2 heads - a rarity less likely to happen than you winning the lotto.
Imagine walking in your garden and almost stepping on a 2-headed snake - that means 4 fangs, not just 2. That's exactly what happened on the 20th of September.
An American saw the snake and quickly grabbed a camera to film it before calling the authorities.
2-headed snakes are extremely hard to find in the wild, according to a report by TimesLIVE.
The Virginia Department of Game and Fisheries shared on social media that the snake is being taken cared of by people with experience with venomous snakes.
While most people reacted by saying if they found the snake they would not have hesitated to kill it, others were happy to see the snake taken care of.
@Eleghent - That’s amazing-very cool
@RadioStormRyan - Name it Fluffy
Amanda Logan Wareing - Thank you for caring for this snake. I appreciate it, and I appreciate whoever found it and chose to spare it’s life and call y’all instead.
Maegan Straughan - This is amazing and beautiful creature. Glad it is being taken care of!
QuickMix - it's real but rare as a lottery ticket
