- Queen B has taken her career to another level, film
- She recently produced an international film called ‘Public Figure’
- B's goal is to become an executive producer and this film, is just the beginning
Queen B has decided to let her radio and TV crown chill for a bit, and she put on her behind the scenes one. The dynamic beaut has taken her shot at film and, like everything she does, we expect nothing less than perfection.
The Media Personality of the Year has produced an international film called ‘Public Figure’. It has been produced through Red Button Films, along with Queen B, reported Times Live.
B stated that 'stepping behind the camera came naturally'. She feels like it is where she needs to be and thanks her many years of networking and building international relations for this opportunity. It did not come easy.
Briefly.co.za learnt that the film is based around influencers and their ability to make an impact, an income and a name, through social media followings.
Social media is a huge part of all of our lives, so the film is very relevant. It also touches on reality vs. platform illusion. People lives are always photo shopped through social media.
The film is an international based film, but B has assured us that Mzansi will get to see it too. She feels that the film serves a purpose and that it is ‘something that needs to be seen by everyone’.
Even though B has taken a backseat and been behind the camera for this one, she couldn’t help but star in her own film to.
B plays one of the case studies in the film. Other big names such as Sebastian Tribbie, Greg Gallagher, Donterio Washington and Greg & Rebecca are also part of the films case studies.
Not letting us suffer in silence, B shared a snip bit of her master piece. She told TshisaLIVE that this film is an accumulation of months of hard work.
The media mogul stated that her goal is to be an executive producer and this film is just one of the stepping stones in her journey to achieve that. Yussss babes!
Is there anything that she can’t do? Proud is an understatement. We cannot wait to watch it!
