Restaurant offers 100-year-old man free food for life

People go to great lengths to make the birthday celebration of loved ones special. Sometimes, such love can be shown to strangers to appreciate them.

A 100-year-old man, Stephen Bellissimo, received the shock of his life on his birthday when a restaurant that he used to frequent for the past 15 years decided to surprise him.

A local Chick-Fil-A restaurant decided to reward one of their loyal customer with free food after it was noticed that he used to visit every week.

The excited 100-year-old man could not contain his joy upon discovering that he is going to be getting free food from the restaurant, Briefly.co.za learned.

He said: “Oh, I think this is just one great surprise for me. I didn’t expect anything like this. That is the best gift I could ever receive! Thank you very much!”

Stephen who used to visit the restaurant once a week before he received his reward revealed that he would now make sure to visit the restaurant every day. “Instead of coming once a week, now I’m coming every day”, he said.

Speaking on the event, the marketing director of the company, Brittani Craft, said: “He makes everyone here feel loved and welcomed.”
