- Shingi Nhari shared how he knew he was going to marry his wife the day he met her
- He saved R25,000 each month for lobola and wedding ring
- They got married just 11 months after they first met
Love at first sight is something real — not just a fairytale — for Shingi Nhari, a South African man based in Johannesburg.
Writing on Twitter, Shingi said when he first met the woman who would be his wife, he knew there and then that he was going to marry her. He said:
The first day I met my wife I was like WOW this is the woman I am going to marry. I told my friends and they thought I was crazy. I saved R25k each month for lobola and ring. 11 months to the day I first met her, I married her. My point is when you know you know. A man won't waste time.
A smitten Shingi added that even now, every day feels just like the first day he met his wife. He posted a photo of himself and his bae in a subsequent tweet.
The two look radiant and very much in love in the adorable picture. Shingi did not mention his wife's name.
It turns out that Shingi shares lovely anecdotes about his wife on Instagram as well. In one heartwarming post, he wrote:
My most brilliant achievement was my ability to be able to persuade my wife to marry me.
Tweeps said they look beautiful together and wished them well.
However, others couldn't help but get stuck on how Shingi saved R25,000 a month.
