Love at first sight is something real — not just a fairytale — for Shingi Nhari, a South African man based in Johannesburg.

Writing on Twitter, Shingi said when he first met the woman who would be his wife, he knew there and then that he was going to marry her. He said:

The first day I met my wife I was like WOW this is the woman I am going to marry. I told my friends and they thought I was crazy. I saved R25k each month for lobola and ring. 11 months to the day I first met her, I married her. My point is when you know you know. A man won't waste time.

A smitten Shingi added that even now, every day feels just like the first day he met his wife. He posted a photo of himself and his bae in a subsequent tweet.

The two look radiant and very much in love in the adorable picture. Shingi did not mention his wife's name.
