SA Hip Hop Mag reports that initially the video was only uploaded to iTunes and then a couple days later it went onto Youtube, where it racked up views at a rate that no other artist in Mzansi has ever managed to do.

Overwhelmed by the amount of praise he has received; Nasty C took to Twitter to thank his fans for their support and for taking the time to actually watch the video.

The young rapper has had phenomenal success in his relatively short career and it’s only a matter of time before he starts looking to make a name for himself abroad.

Briefly.co.za learned that Nasty C’s fans already think that his music is good enough to compete internationally, however, the rapper is thinking slightly bigger than that.

Soon after the release of ‘Strings and Bling’, Nasty C declared that he could easily contend with the likes of J. Cole, NAS and Eminem, however fans feel that while he is good, maybe in a few years will he be able to compete on their level.

Either way, Mzasni is loving his new track as well as the music video to go with it and his fans can’t wait to see what he will do next.
