The couple met in the 1950’s and Jordan set out to woo his lady with love letters, thankfully it only took him three to score a date with Venita and the rest is history.

They reminisced about their first few dates where they would sit for hours on end just simply chatting to one another and enjoying being in each other’s company, which nowadays is a rare thing to find.

TimesLIVE reports that Jordan joked that they lived on love because they spent so long talking to each other that sometimes they would forget to get something to eat or drink.

Briefly.co.za learned that of course the couple have had their fair share of up and downs, but they have found a way to work things out and since they have been together for so long, it must be some pretty good advice.
