South Africans - brace yourselves. Snow is coming. Snow Report SA predicted that the country is to expect the heaviest snowfall yet in the coming week. Just when we thought winter had finally packed its bags and allowed summer to take the reigns!
This first of the season's last snowfall can be expected in the Eastern Cape early on Wednesday morning. More precisely, the Rhodes and Tiffindell areas can expect heavy snowfall.
The Drakensberg can expect to be covered in a white blanket by midday.
The snow should intensify and extend into the Maluti Mountains and the eastern areas of Lesotho.
The heaviest snowfall is predicted for Thursday. By Friday, the weather should be clearing up and clear skies can be expected over the weekend.
