Disgraced and suspended SARS commissioner Tom Moyane believes he was the best commissioner South Africa had since the apartheid era ended.

According to Moyane, he was the most successful commissioner that SARS had and says the president's treatment of him is in violation of the constitution.

Moyane handed over a fat 700 page application at the Constitutional Court in which he wishes to challenge how legal and fair the Nugent inquiry and the investigation into his alleged misconduct was. The second inquiry was launched by advocate Azhar Bham.

Moyane also handed in audio proof of public enterprises minister Pravin Gordhan calling him cheeky. In the recording Gordhan also accuses Moyane of believing he is God, according to a report by SowetanLIVE.

He insists that Gordhan hates him and should not be involved in matters involving him.

For a grown man like myself to be referred to as ‘cheeky’ by another person in the same age group as I am (I am 65 and Gordon is 69) was particularly hurtful‚ demeaning and an affront to my human dignity and self-worth.

Moyane wants to fight against President Ramaphosa's decision to deny him his right to an oral hearing.

Further, Moyane believes that Michael Katz should not be involved in the SARS commission as he used to be Ramaphosa's lawyer and has conflicting interests.

The former commissioner stated that his challenge against the inquiries shouldn't be seen as him trying to avoid giving answers.

Moyane feels that the charges against him are nothing more than illogical witch hunts.
