Season 3 of ‘Lockdown’ was nothing short of an emotional rollercoaster and it’s fair to say that Mzansi needed a break to come to terms with everything that happened. However, season 4 could hurry up already, because fans want some answers.
The show has managed to capture its audience with an interesting story line, world class acting and an original soundtrack, that keeps viewers coming back week after week.
The cast of ‘Lockdown’ as well as the show’s soundtrack have been applauded after each episode and now tweeps have finally gotten the one thing that they have been craving more than anything and that is, the official ‘Lockdown’ soundtrack!
No matter how strong a person is, the minute they watch an emotional scene on the show and the music starts playing, they will burst into tears.
Tweeps have been dying to get a hold of the music and often ask for more information on the song or the artist each week, but now they can actually get a hold of it.
Neliswe Sibiya, who acts on the show, also lent her voice to some of the songs on the soundtrack.
The actress believes that the music that was produced for the show, is probably the most emotional soundtrack to ever be associated with a TV series and tweeps agree.
Briefly.co.za learned that Neliswe was very excited that she got to be a part of the project and she says that one of her favourite parts about the soundtrack, is the emotions it evokes in people. To her, that is what makes it extra special.
The actress knows how much fans have been begging for them to release the soundtrack and she is glad that they will be able to make them happy, especially since it’s going to be some time before the new season starts.
Mandla N, the show’s producer was also involved in making the soundtrack and he is proud of the amount of success that ‘Lockdown’ has had.
TimesLIVE reports that Mandla N believes that working on the soundtrack as well as the series has been the highlight of his career and he doubts that anything will ever be able to top it.
Tweeps have been flooding social media with their reactions to the season finale as well as the news that they will finally be able to get their hands on a copy of the soundtrack.
